The LAMPA Impact Film Festival announces a new special nomination and the competitive selection of films in cooperation with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in the Russian Federation.
The nomination «Way Home» will accept entries from filmmakers whose films address the issues of refugees and stateless persons, as well as assistance to people forced to leave their homes. The nomination also covers the topics of inclusion, family, and separation with the close ones. The organizers will also accept entries that comply with the festival regulations, from directors with forced displacement backgrounds.

The organizers plan to hold thematic events in the format of a public talk or a roundtable on the sidelines of the film festival.
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees was established in 1950. The UNHCR office has been working in Russia since 1992, assisting the government in addressing the problems of asylum-seekers, refugees, and stateless persons. UNHCR provides legislative analysis, expert support, and funding for projects that deliver assistance to beneficiaries.
