Kirill Kosolapov is the director of the documentary short films "Joy of Old Age" for the "Joy of Old Age" Charity Foundation, and "Warm Home", for the "Volunteers for Orphans" Charity Foundation.
The film series “Other People?”: Kirill Kosolapov's films "Warm Home" and "Joy of Old Age" won a special prize "Hero of Good Stories" at the LAMPA Film Festival 2020.
The “Warm Home” project helps young mothers and their babies to feel cared for and safe when they find themselves in a difficult situation. The project staff gives mothers a sense of confidence and strengthens it with what they need at the moment, including legal and psychological support.
The “Joy of Old Age” project tells us that a human needs a human. In the end, it is a bit confusing who gives more: young people to adults or vice versa.
Young people come to the elderly and give them their attention, and they, in turn, give even more back to them.
We thank Kirill Kosolapov for this introduction and are sure that these films will be a bridge between people who would like to try volunteering and projects.
