Jude Kalman is the producer and director of the video studio FishFilms. Director of the short documentary film “Katura’s Story” (winner of the LAMPA Film Festival 2019) and the social video “Nice Coffee Co: Our Story” (winner of the special prize “The Value of Education” of the LAMPA film Festival 2020).
In February 2020, Jude presented the documentary "Katura’s Story" at the UN Headquarters in New York as a part of the LAMPA Film Festival Retrospective.
The second film work of the director, "Nice Coffee Co: Our story" is a beautiful story about how a simple cup of coffee can change people's lives, in particular, to support the people in Africa.
The main character of the story, Jim Chapman, first visited Kenya at the age of 7 and really fell in love with this country. Since then, his goal has been to change the life of this region for the better.
As an adult, he has created a coffee company where every employee feels the importance of their business and sincerely believes that selling one cup of coffee can turn into a lunch for a starving child or a new school for children.
