Arjanmar Hernandez Rebeta is the director of the short documentary films “Wing Chair” and “Complicated Dance of the Wheel of Life”.
The main character of his films is a young man Christian Oneza Apolinario.
Christian is a motivational speaker and activist promoting the rights of people with disabilities. He is a famous person in the Philippines and abroad.
But it was not always so. The hero of the film “Complicated Dance of the Wheel of Life” is wheelchair bound and he devotes his life which is full of despair and compassion in those days, to ballroom dancing in wheelchairs and makes a real breakthrough: he takes part in various national competitions and television projects to find talent such as Pilipinas Got Talent Season 4, It's Showtime-Pinasikat and others.
As a result, he is invited to other countries and, in addition to the incredibly dynamic dancing on the ground, he gets wings - the ability to travel by plane around the world. The documentary “Wing Chair” tells us about the inner transformation of the protagonist. Now he knows exactly what he wants and implements it, and despair is replaced by absolute self-love.
The film is a postulate of believing in yourself.
It is a guidebook for every single person.
In February 2020, the film was presented at the United Nations Headquarters in New York and in October 2020, Christian and Arjanmar presented the film to the audiences at the LAMPA FILM FEST 2020.
