The Shortlist of the Competitive Selection of the LAMPA International Film Festival in 2020 has been made.

On August 20, based on the interim results, the Shortlist of the competitive works, submitted to the LAMPA International Film Festival of socially oriented short films, videos and social advertising in 2020, was made.

Short films, short documentaries, social videos and advertising tell us about how people’s values are formed, what motivates people to solve social problems and support their neighbours, and why volunteerism and charity should be a way of life for us.

Amateurs and professionals, newcomers of cinematography and winners of well-known film festival venues presented their bright and heartfelt works to the Jury. As a result, 847 works from 93 countries were submitted to the LAMPA Film Festival in 2020. The global pandemic has not prevented people from shooting life-affirming films. Almost all film works help us see how powerful we are to make the world a better place.

The Jury Members had to make a difficult choice. According to the results of the Competitive Evaluation, 46 works from 13 countries were included in the Shortlist; Russia, France, China, Indonesia, India, UK, Australia, Brazil, Iran, Germany, Spain, USA, Israel are amongst them.

The Awards Ceremony will take place on October 16, 2020 within the LAMPA FILM FEST 2020 festival-forum held in Perm. This year, educational and motivational sessions will be filled with the best media content of the film festival.
