“All characters appearing in this work are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental” – this is what we usually see in the beginning of the most exciting films. But no matter how “fictional” and “unbelievable” the character or the story is, the viewer can always find such person in real life.
That is the true meaning short films – with the help of a unique vision and artistic techniques, the author raises important questions and impresses upon the viewers the relevance of them.
One of the nominations of the LAMPA’s Competitive Selection is the Short film. In their filmworks, last years’ participants of the LAMPA Film Festival shared stories about children’s oncology and unconditional faith, everyday life of ordinary and extraordinary people living near us, relationships within the family, the power of love, spirit and solidarity.
