Svetlana Izambaeva, founder of the Svetlana Izambaeva Foundation which helps HIV-positive children, is the protagonist of the film «Special Status of Strong People». Svetlana fights against the social stigma of HIV-positive children and their parents, is engaged in educational and charitable activities, and provides psychological support. Svetlana has been living with HIV diagnosis for 20 years and is a certified psychotherapist.
