About film
Combating profanity has become part of the state's language policy agenda. The story unfolds in a school. Poets depicted in portraits overhear the conversations of modern-day students and cannot simply stand by; they initiate a "Case Regarding the Russian Language." Pushkin, Yesenin, Blok, and Lermontov observe the goings-on at the school and gather evidence for the case. Finally, they hold a meeting and issue a decree.
