Snezhana, an unlucky woman from Moscow, arrives in a remote village to bury her stepfather and claim the inheritance — a house. With no money for the funeral, she decides to sell his cow. What should have been a simple transaction turns into a full-blown ordeal. The cow defecates constantly and refuses to move unless it hears poetry. On her way, Snezhana faces church ladies, cruel children, and mocking taxi drivers. Against all odds, she finally manages to sell the wretched animal... but suddenly, the seemingly predictable chain of events in her life begins to spin wildly off-script.
